Finca Hartmann Washed Geisha, Chiriquí
Much like the misty mountain tops which these lots are grown, Panama Geisha occupies a realm of rarefied air in the world of coffee.
With a taste profile envied for its elegance and florality, it is often emulated, but rarely matched. This release from legendary producer and Best of Panama winner, Finca Hartmann reminds us that not all geisha are created equal.
This lot, number 68, is a meticulous hand-selection of red-ripe green tip geisha cherries processed in the traditional washed method to offer up a coffee with the ideal expression of this archetypal cup profile. No frills, just pure finesse.
Expect elegance-a nose of delicate jasmine florals evolve into fynbos honey and lemongrass on the front, moving through sweet panela and white peach, with a lingering fragrant finish of yuzu all wrapped up in the silkiest texture.

When will my order ship?
📆 All online orders are typically shipped on Wednesday each week to ensure we get the freshest available stock to you. This means anything ordered by midnight on Tuesday is guaranteed to ship on Wednesday, orders placed after this will ship by the following Wednesday at the latest. In some cases, items may ship sooner if we have fresh stock available.
🗺 Arrival depends on where you're based —within Johannesburg orders will often arrive the day after you receive tracking information, other major centres will usually receive orders 2 days after you get a tracking number in your inbox, outlying areas may take up to 3 days.
💫 We ship free to all of South Africa on orders over R849, for orders below this value a R85 delivery fee will be included at Checkout.
You can also opt for a store pickup at our Kramerville Roastery or Rosebank Cafe, just select this option at Checkout. We'll send you a "ready to collect" notification as soon as your order is, well, ready to collect.
🌍 We offer international shipping on all orders under 2kg (that's safely 6 boxes of coffee) Unfortunately, the South African postal service is infamous for being the total opposite of a vibe so our int'l shipping is handled via Aramex or DHL. This means that int'l shippings fees are a little steep, but you'll get your coffee in record time and will be able to track it all the way to your door.
🛫 To view shipping rates for your country, simply follow the usual process people follow when shopping online (fill a cart, proceed to checkout, and enter your address & contact deets). Easy peasy.
If shipping options do not load, it means we don't currently offer shipping to your country or region. Be sure to mail us so we can fix that.
NB: some import duties may be applicable on arrival depending on your country's policies.
